EIG talk series

Panel discussions such as the “Erlanger Interreligiösen Gespräche” (EIG) offer an opportunity to address the differences and similarities between the three monotheistic religions. The series is a cooperation project between BaFID and the City Library of Erlangen. The series started with a panel discussion on “Good and Evil in Religion and Philosophy.” Additional topics were: „Sexualität, Tabuisierung und Persönlichkeitsentwicklung aus interreligiöser Perspektive“ and „Inspiririert, diktiert, kanonisiert – Wie wird ein Text zur Heiligen Schrift?“.

The series continued in February 2021 with the following topic: „Der Koran. Erfahrungen eines Christenmenschen mit einem herausfordernden Buch“. The lecture was given by: Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Karl-Josef Kuschel (Tübingen).
