With a newly founded journal, BaFID has its medium for current contributions to research into interreligious discourses. The interdisciplinary magazine “Erlanger Jahrbuch für Interreligious Discourses” is initially published once a year by Ergon Verlag in printed and digital versions. The quality of the contributions is ensured through a peer review process (double-blind). The yearbook is aimed primarily at readers from German-speaking countries. In addition to scientific articles, literature reports, reviews, conference reports, and the presentation of current research projects (dissertations, habilitation,s and similar) are planned.
Volume 1 deals with methods of presenting and analyzing interreligious discourses. It was published online and in print in November 2021. Volume 2, entitled “Interreligious Discourses: Perspectives and Topics”, was published in autumn 2022. The responsible editor is Prof. Dr. George Tamer. The third volume with the title “Imaginations of Paradise Discursively Viewed” has now been published. Doru Constantin Doroftei was responsible for editorial assistance for Volume 3. The editorial team includes Dr. Christian Lange and Catharina Rachik.
