Terms and Conditions for Participation in the Instagram Giveaway

The giveaway starts with the publication of the giveaway post and ends on November 15, 2024, at 11:59 PM. Participating before or after the specified period in the giveaway description is invalid.
Participation in the giveaway is only possible under the terms and conditions listed here. By participating in the giveaway, the participant explicitly acknowledges these terms and conditions. Participation is free of charge.
One winner will be drawn.
Participation is automatic by posting a comment within the specified period on the Instagram platform. The comment must be related to the giveaway post. Multiple comments by the same person on the platform will be considered as a single entry.
Posts for participation in the giveaway must not contain insults, false facts, violations of competition, trademark, or copyright laws, political statements, or anything that violates laws or public morals.
Comments that violate Facebook/Instagram guidelines, German law, or copyright will be removed without prior notice once identified. The participant will be excluded from the giveaway. If the participant breaks any rules or laws, and this causes problems for the Bavarian Research Centre for Interreligious Dialogue (BaFID), the participant must protect BaFID from any claims made by others. In this case, the participant must also compensate BaFID for any reasonable legal defence costs. Claims for further damages remain unaffected.
Eligibility to participate is open to individuals over the age of 18 residing in Germany who like the giveaway post, follow the Bavarian Research Center for Interreligious Dialogue on Instagram, and comment on the giveaway post.
BaFID will only collect, process, or use participants’ personal data to run the giveaway. This data will be deleted after the giveaway ends (it will remain in the comment history of the BaFID Instagram page).
The winners will be randomly selected after the giveaway ends and contacted promptly.
The winners will be informed via Instagram direct messages. They must respond within 48 hours by sending their contact details and addresses via email to the organisers. If a winner does not respond within this period, a new winner will be drawn.
The prize will be sent by mail.

Other Provisions:

The organiser is not responsible for technical malfunctions preventing access to the BaFID Instagram page or the giveaway post. The organiser is also not responsible for technical issues during data transmission. The organiser is only liable in case of wilful intent or gross negligence in breach of a material duty during the execution of the giveaway. If the organiser is liable according to the previous paragraph for a breach of duty without wilful intent or gross negligence, the liability is limited to the typical scope of damage that the organiser could have reasonably expected at the start of the giveaway. The above provisions do not apply to liability for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, or for claims that require mandatory legal liability.
To the extent the organiser’s liability is excluded or limited under the above provisions, the provision also applies to the personal liability of the organiser’s employees, representatives, and agents. Instagram releases the participant from all liability.
The Federal Republic of Germany’s laws exclusively apply. If any part of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining terms will remain unaffected. These terms and conditions may be changed at any time by the organiser without separate notice. The organiser excludes any legal recourse.
