Show up against antisemitism and Islamophobia
Under #WissenMachtStark, as well as the Bavarian Research Center for Interreligious Discourses (BaFID), at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), prominent figures from academia, politics, society, business, culture, and media showed their support for the mutual recognition of people of different religious affiliations and against socially harmful movements. The social media campaign for greater coexistence ran between May and mid-July 2021 on the BaFID channels Facebook and Twitter. The campaign was launched by the Chairman of the BaFID Board of Trustees, Bavaria’s Minister of the Interior and Integration, Joachim Herrmann. All published quotes on religion in pluralistic society, the value of interreligious discourse, successful knowledge transfer, and solid basic research can be found on the website of the Board of Trustees’.
