The topic was: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bafid.fau.de\/files\/2021\/07\/eig_langenhorst_rochdi_djanatliev_13-10-2021.pdf\">\u201e<span class=\"s3\">L<\/span><span class=\"s3\">earning<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> IN R<\/span><span class=\"s3\">eligion<\/span><span class=\"s3\">?\u201c Perspectives on \u201eTransmission of Faith\u201c<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<span class=\"s3\">in\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s3\">Judaism, Christianity and Islam. H<\/span>ere can be found the fourth edition of the co-operation event between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=OvsyutddJC8&amp;list=PLMzP6RAbb1Gl0MI5-eLC57LQyu4FvgZI6\">BaFID<\/a> and the Erlangen City Library: <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/QrR9aKK7mYA\">Livestream<\/a>.  To read the results: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sonntagsblatt.de\/artikel\/bayern\/religionsunterricht-identitaet\">Article<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s3\">The panellists were: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"s3\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-augsburg.de\/de\/fakultaet\/kthf\/lehrstuhle-professuren\/didaktik-relpad\/personen\/prof-dr-georg-langenhorst\/\">Prof. Dr. Georg Langenhorst<\/a><\/strong>, BaFID cooperation partner and Chair of Didactics of Catholic Religious Education and Religious Education at the University of Augsburg<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"s3\"><strong>Amin Rochdi<\/strong>, former research assistant at FAU and now managing director of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunnitischer-schulrat.de\/index.php\/aktuelles\">Sunni School Board Foundation<\/a> responsible for Sunni Islamic religious education in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ikg-nuernberg.de\/ueber-uns\/unterricht\/\">German Djanatliev<\/a><\/strong>, a state-recognised teacher for Jewish religious education and subject advisor for the upper secondary school in the subject \u2018Jewish Religious Education\u2019 in Bavaria as well as religious teacher of the Jewish Community of Nuremberg and head of the education department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The event was moderated by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Dr. Bettina Scherbaum<\/strong>, Member of the BaFID Board of Trustees and Ministerial Counsellor at the Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The third edition of the \u201eErlanger Interreligi\u00f6sen Gespr\u00e4che\u201c (EIG) focused on the fundamentals of interreligious discourse. Does contact with other religions make us more human \u2013 or rather wiser? What can interfaith discourse contribute to resolving religious and political tensions? What could a sensible way of dealing with sceptics look like? These and other questions were discussed in front of an audience of around 200, who followed the event via Zoom or the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/9C7MTyoIiHo\">Livestream<\/a>: BaFID Director Prof. Dr. Georges Tamer, Prof. Dr. Tarek Badawia (FAU), Dr. Niels Eggerz (BaFID) and Prof. Dr. Manfred Pirner (FAU). PD.
